Blau, 1982. Producer and record label of most of the Balearic Islands records, betting on new artists as well as revalorizing the recovery of old productions such as Maria del Mar Bonet’s first albums. Since its creation, Blau has edited more than 700 titles that have enriched the musical heritage not only of the Balearic Islands but all its surroundings. Giving in this way output to the creativity of many artists with special attention to the popular music of Mallorca, the Balearics and the Mediterranean.

In 1989 Blau founded in Barcelona, together with other associates, the record company DISCMEDI SA. BLAU-DISMEDI has been one of the most important forerunners of rock in Catalan, and has brought success to many Catalan groups and musicians.

The current catalogue includes over 2000 productions, between its own recordings and exclusive distributions, covering most music styles from all over the world.
